Priced for project work, not seat count.
Tessera is bought by consultancies and security teams with project-driven demand. So you pay by the engagement — in credits sized to the work — not by the seat. Buy credits as you need them, or move to a subscription when your use is regular. Access is invite-only; your exact rate is confirmed when we onboard you.
You pay per engagement, sized to the work.
One session produces a full security model. What it costs scales with the size of the system you point it at — measured, shown, and confirmed before anything is spent.
Small — 1 credit
A focused component or a single service. The lightest band.
Medium — 2 credits
A typical product or platform with several moving parts and trust boundaries.
Large — 3 credits
A whole estate or a complex, multi-boundary architecture.
XL — 4 credits
An exceptionally large or deeply interconnected estate. The rare top band.
Most engagements fall in the 1–3 band. The size band is computed from your system description and shown before you spend — "this looks like a Large engagement, ~3 credits; you have 10." Insufficient credits stop the start, never a run half-way through.
Pay as you go, or subscribe when it pays.
Every plan buys the same credits; a subscription lowers the effective rate the moment your use is regular. Purchase happens in-product after we invite you — the site shows the model, not a checkout.

Enterprise
Invoiced billing, volume rates, and procurement / security review — for consultancies and regulated buyers with their own process.

Money you paid doesn't evaporate.
We split credits by where they came from, because the two aren't the same kind of value. It's a deliberate break from the industry's "use it or lose it" default.
- ✓ You paid real money, so the value stays yours — indefinitely.
- ✓ No rolling expiry clock, no quietly-lapsing balance.
- ✓ Always spent last, so nothing you paid for is ever lost.
- › A monthly benefit on a subscription, not stored cash.
- › Rolls over one month, then lapses — a quiet month isn't punished.
- › Always spent first, so the perishable value goes before your own.
Allowance credits and their rollover ship with the subscription tiers. Pilots run on the simple half: purchased credits, non-expiring.
Pay for change, not for asking again.
Minor change → free
Re-run on a system that's barely moved and you're not charged again. We show the delta — "this change adds 3 components, minor" — so you can see why.
Material change → the delta only
When a re-run genuinely reworks the model — "adds 18 components, major" — you pay for the change, not a whole fresh engagement. The count is shown before you spend.
Tell us what you'd point it at.
We'll size a typical engagement for you and quote against it — no self-serve checkout, no surprise metering.
